All hair is measured straight. This means you lose about 4 inches. For example, 16 inches is 16 inches when straight, but 12 inches with the curl pattern.
Maintenance and Recommended Products: To preserve the hair and ensure longevity, finger combing is suggested. If you choose to comb the extensions, use a wide tooth comb (preferably a detangling brush) and start from the ends then work your way up. Co-wash the hair weekly/biweekly. Apply HydraLuxe Extreme Moisturizing Conditioner generously to wet hair from root to tip then rinse thoroughly. After co-washing, spray a generous amount of Mega Moisture Leave-In Condish throughout your fresh, clean hair. Seal in moisture with HydraLuxe Growth & Anti-Itch Serum. Apply directly to the scalp and/or extensions. Define curls and add moisture with HydraLuxe Moisturizing Enhancer Gel. Style as desired.
If/when there is product build up, use HydraLuxe Gentle Refining Shampoo to cleanse extensions and scalp. Apply a quarter size amount of HydraLuxe Gentle Refining Shampoo to your extensions. Cover evenly throughout your hair and scalp.
A wig head is highly recommended for the detangling process.
Hair Dye - The hair can be dyed. This hair has gone through a steam process to achieve the texture. Be aware that the lighter you dye the hair the looser the curls may become.
Straightening Hair - The hair can be straightened. Be aware that this hair has gone through a steam process to achieve the texture. Straightening the hair could alter the texture.

This is my first lace front and it hasn't disappointed. I wanted to change my hair style and wanted to support a black-owned company and found this wig at a great price. I love the big hair look on me. I plan to have it dyed and professionally installed, so inbetween time, I decided to buy a headband wig from Kinkistry. I am *living* for how amazing this wig is! It looks so natural, I haven’t even had to fess up to anyone that it isn’t my hair. I’ve been exploring all the different ways to style it, and a week and half in, I haven’t worn it the same way twice! Absolutely obsessed and would absolutely buy again!

This hair truly mimics natural hair and it looks great. I would definitely recommend. I co-washed and detangled day 1. Day 2- about 8 plaits using Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls and Aunt Jackie's elongating gel. Day 3- super cute braid out.

I love Kinkistry hair! I haven’t tried it on for myself yet but the texture is incredible! The curls pop, I’ve read other reviews saying they wash well and the curls bounce back so I’m excited to rock this hair! I will definitely be ordering more units in the future!
Thank you for sharing!! Be sure to co-wash. Harsh shampoos may dry out your extensions and cause tangling and breakage.
It is actually more than I excepted. The texture is nice. I ordered the 20 inch which allows me some to pull it back away from my forehead

This wig is amazing! I’m not sure how to take care of the lace front yet since I’ve only worn it 3 times so far, but hopefully it lasts for a while. Other than that, I feel like it’s worth the purchase!

I absolutely love this wig, it’s the perfect texture and the hair is so pretty! Once you get it, wash and comb out the curls, it turns into a beautiful voluminous wig. It is very full. Great purchase, so glad I bought it :)
I had mine in for two days so far. Minimal shedding and it's very realistic. Its soft and hits my bbn shoulders. I got the 20 inch. You need to buy lots of moisturizers and conditioner for this to stay shiny and healthy looking. Very good investment for bbn protective styling while still looking cute! Buy this asap!
This is a good wig. The hair is soft, it doesn't shed much and the texture is spot on. They don't skimp on the thickness of the hair and that's wonderful. However some improvements need to be made. The lace color was muddy. It did not match my skin and even with makeup the underlying color was difficult to work with. Maybe a true transparent lace would be better. I think you could also do single knots in the whole front of the wig which would make bleaching the knots easier. When you use double knots on hair this thick it doesn't look natural and it's hard to bleach without overdoing it or missing some of the knots. Please consider your customers with smaller heads. The medium is not a one size fits all solution-- even with the adjustable straps. I understand you have to customize your own wig to your liking, but some things could be made easier. Overall good hair.
I purchased the Kurlgenics 12 inch lace front. The wig is absolutely beautiful! I colored it to match my natural hair color and the curls remained the same. The 12 inch length hits just past my shoulders. The hair is super soft, does not shed much, and the curls bounce back when wet. When dry, the curls can easily be fluffed for volume. This is my fourth Kinkistry purchase and I HIGHLY recommend them!
I've been using the clip-ins for a while and tried the wig this time. I love the wig as much as the clip-ins. Fit my hair pattern perfectly...can't tell the difference between my hair and the wig. I colored the wig to match my hair color and the texture remained the same.
This wig is so beautiful! I’ve gotten many compliments on it. After searching for a natural hair coily wig I finally found the perfect one. The texture of the hair is nice and the wig has very minimal shedding so far, even after cowashing and using a detangling brush on it. I would definitely recommend this company, I sent them a question through dm on Instagram and they responded the same day which made me feel secure about making this investment. I am very much satisfied with my purchase !
